eLearning

• The district will notify parents of an eLearning Day via email, phone, and text.
• Teachers will share specific eLearning information on their Google Classroom and SeeSaw pages.

• Should an eLearning Day be anticipated, each D34 student in grades 1 through 8 will take home their district-issued device the day before.
• Antioch CCSD 34 certified educators have district-issued laptops and iPads.
• Antioch CCSD 34 support staff have district-issued iPads and have all applicable software to perform their responsibilities. 

• Students will complete eLearning packets provided by their teachers. 
• Students and families should check for communication from their teacher. 
• Students and families will be given choice learning opportunities and activities prior to an eLearning day. They will select from items provided to complete during the day. 
• Questions may be directed to teachers via email between the hours of 9-11 AM for morning attendance and 12:35-2:35 PM for afternoon attendance.

• Parents are expected to check the email address they provided to the school upon registration on the eLearning Day for student assignments.
• Questions or concerns may be brought to teachers at any time, but will only be responded to during regular school hours.

• Teachers are responsible for maintaining eLearning Day plans for their students. Plans should be appropriate to the time of year, current topics of study, and align with ISBE state standards and Antioch CCSD 34 curriculum goals and objectives.
• The eLearning lesson plans should meet the 5 clock hours of instruction or school work requirement (Public Act 101-0012; IL School Code 105 ILCS 5/10-20.56).
• Each teacher shall be accessible via their school email throughout the hours of the regularly scheduled school day and respond in a timely manner to any stakeholder.
• Each teacher shall complete job-related responsibilities when not interfacing with students (e.g., creating student resources, self-paced professional development, tutorials/modules, etc.).
• Teachers must set completion dates for assignments. 
• Permanent substitutes will check in with building principals and support student learning as  directed. 

• Each teacher shall be accessible via their school email throughout the hours of the regularly scheduled school day and respond in a timely manner to any stakeholder.
• Each teacher shall complete job-related responsibilities when not interfacing with students (e.g., creating student resources, self-paced professional development, tutorials/modules, etc.). 

• Work remotely with teachers to assist with remote learning.
• Each teacher shall complete job-related responsibilities when not interfacing with classes/students (e.g., creating student resources, self-paced professional development, tutorials/module).

• Students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) will have eLearning plans that match their individual learning goals.
• Special Education Teachers, Early Childhood Teachers, and Related Services staff members will provide materials/lessons during the eLearning Days for each of their students.

• Paraprofessionals will work with their assigned classroom teachers in conducting small group and individual work with designated student(s).
• The work day will be remote unless you need to work in-person. If so, report to ASC only; all schools will be closed.

• Complete overdue notices through Destiny.  
• Support technology trouble tickets.

Transportation and Food Service shall be paid their regular work hours, provided that within seven (7) working days, they complete duties as otherwise assigned and requisite hours to substantiate the regular work hours paid.

•  Lunchroom Supervisors will have the opportunity to make up the workday at the end of the year to assist in closing up and preparing the building for summer activities. 

• Monitor the Trouble Ticket System throughout the regular school day hours.
