Hello! I am Kary Batchelder, and this is my second year at Oakland Elementary School. Prior to Oakland, I  taught special education in Orlando, Florida, and Chicago. I graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and a Masters Degree from St. Leo's University, Tampa, Florida, in Exceptional Student Education. I live in Antioch, Illinois with my husband and 5 year old son.
