This week we talked about the season Winter. We discussed the changes in the climate and what we can do in Winter. We will continue this discussion next week and talk about the clothing.

Welcome Back I hope everyone had a great break (though short). I know it went by quick for me!
This week we have been talking about starting a new year and what a year is. We discussed that there are 12 months in a year and 4 seasons.
We were lucky to have Mr. Gaiser visit our PM Music class on Wednesday. He read/sang the story of the 5 little ducks and particpated in scarf dancing to show loud and quiet.
We are doing a Winter Parent Involvement on Jan 18th. One special adult is welcome to come and participate with the student in a variety of activities. Due to this event our secret reader will be cancelled for that Friday. Please RSVP by Jan 11th. Click here for the flyer- Winter Involvement

I am excited to continue my teaching career at Hillcrest this year. I have previously taught Early Childhood Special Education for 5 years at a previous school district and taught at HeadStart before that. I have over 20 years experience in working with young children. I do have three children of my own, two step children and a grandchild. I am looking forward to an exciting year with your children.
