• Today, the Antioch Fire Department came for a visit. The classes were able to see the fire engine and a fire fighter in full gear.

The fire department was also there to supervise our first fire drill. It went well and all the students did great!

Welcome Aboard!!!!  I am excited to be teaching your child this year.  I have been teaching in Early Childhood for over 20 years. This is my second year in this district.  I have my Early Childhood Educators License and I have endorsements in Early Childhood Special Education and English As A Second Language.  I am a mother of three; my son is currently stationed in Japan serving for the US Navy, my oldest daughter is going to school in California and my youngest is currently attending Lakes High School.  I also have adult step children and a granddaughter. When I am not in the classroom I can be found enjoying time with my family.

I believe that communication is key to a successful school year.  I will be posting often with in this website.  Pictures will be posted throughout the week and an announcement will be posted on Fridays. A calendar of events is also part of this website.  Current dates will be on the main page and a full calendar can be found on the tab to the left.  Parent involvement is part of the PreK program. This can be done through special events, conferences and time spent in the classroom. I will be setting up volunteer sign ups through signupgenius.com for time to join us in the classroom. This will be posted and a link shared in mid-September and in-class opportunities will start in October. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me: mhanrahan@antioch34.com.

I look forward to a great adventure with your family,

Mrs. Hanrahan
