Encore for 6th, 7th, and 8th

Hello, my name is Mrs. Wieser (pronounced Weezer)! This is my 4th year teaching this class. I was a paraprofessional for two years here at AUGS before starting to teach this course. I was also a substitute in multiple local school districts for many years before starting at AUGS. I am very excited about the school year 2021-2022 and that we are back in the building with all students. 

I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University with middle school endorsements in ELA, science, and social science. 

I have been married to my husband, Jason, for 9 years. We have 2 boys; a 6-year old (Taylor) who is in 1st grade at Big Hollow and a 3-year old (Peyton). I have an 8-year-old dog named Kaner. I love to spend time with my family. We are Chicago sports fans, mainly Blackhawks (hence our dog’s name being Kaner), Cubs, and Bears!

I look forward to a wonderful and exciting trimester getting to know all of the new students who have me and getting to know the students I've had in the past better!
