    Mary Beth Hulting
     
    Mary Beth Hulting, President
    Term: 2015-2027
     
    Mary Beth Hulting has resided in Antioch since 2002. Upon receiving her B.A. in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University, Mary Beth began her career teaching middle school Math, Science, and Humanities, going on to receive her Masters in Educational Leadership/Administration from Northern Illinois University, in addition to a post Masters +38 hours focused on Special Education and Psychology. Currently a middle level ELA educator for Northbrook District 31, Mary Beth served as the district's long-time Service Learning Coordinator, mentoring schools throughout the nation.
     
    Mary Beth and her husband Scott are the parents to three boys - all who have attended or currently attend Antioch CCSD 34 schools. Mary Beth has been an active volunteer, serving on the Hillcrest Outdoor Classroom Committee, providing mentorship for incoming educators, and volunteering her time both inside and outside of the classroom. In addition to this work, Mary Beth was an assistant Boy Scout Leader and currently volunteers her time to the Antioch Traveling Closet Foundation and The Maddox LoPriore Butterly Foundation. In her personal time, Mary Beth enjoys attending her sons' lacrosse, football and baseball games, playing the piano, spending time outdoors, and rooting for the Chicago Blackhawks and Cubs.

    Lori Linck
     
    Lori Linck, Vice President
    Term: 2013-2027
     
    Lori Linck joined the District 34 Board of Education in 2013, and has served as Vice President since 2017. Prior to joining the Board, Lori was an active member of the D34 community. She spent 8 years as a weekly classroom volunteer, was active in the D34 PTOs, organized fundraisers for AUGS, and was a volunteer at many District events, including her personal favorite - the AUGS Warrior Mile. Lori was also a member of the Strategic Planning Committee both before and after she joined the Board, and championed the formation of the D34 Data Committee. She believes in giving back to the community, and has been a long-term supporter of the Open Arms Mission. She and her husband are also United Way Pillars, and long-term supporters of St. Jude Children's Hospital.
     
    Lori holds degrees in Chemistry and Business, as well as numerous professional certifications in the cyber/privacy domain. Lori has a depth and breadth of experience in STEM roles, from her first job as a Formulation Chemist, to leading the Cybersecurity Architecture team for a Fortune 100 company. She currently serves as Data Privacy Officer for Medical Devices at Abbott. Lori is deeply committed to ensuring that D34 offers rigorous courses of study to all students, and ensuring that D34's curriculum evolves as the career landscape evolves.

    Angela Baronello  
     
     Angela Baronello, Secretary
    Term: 2019-2025
     
    Angela Baronello has been an active part of the Antioch CCSD 34 community since moving to Antioch with her family in 2006. Angela served on the District 34 Foundation for seven years and has been a part of two previous Strategic Planning Committees and the Special Education Parent Network, supporting the local community. Angela's path to advocacy began at home while trying to find the best outcome for her dyslexic son, Lucas. Seeing a need for greater awareness at the local level, she created Lake County Parents of Children with Dyslexia to support other parents facing the same challenges, in addition to co-founding Decoding Dyslexia Illinois, which advocates for legislation change in schools across Illinois. Her work in this group led to an appointment to the Illinois Reading Instruction Advisory group for the Illinois State Board of Education from 2014 to 2016 and an appointment by Governor Rauner to the Illinois State Advisory Council on the Education of Children with Disabilities from 2017 to 2021.
     
    Angela received her B.A. in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and worked for Boys & Girls Clubs of America before leaving to stay home with her three children, John, Lucas and Evie. She loves to find quality family time for camping, hiking, great food, and hanging out with their dogs, Lucy and Dakota.

    Kelly Beall, Member
    Term: 2023-2025
     
    Kelly Beall has been an active member of the D34 community throughout the years. Kelly has served as both a lunchroom/homeroom aide and as a substitute teacher in the district and is a parent to former D34 students Emily and Andrew, and has worked with the D117 Strategic Strategic Planning Committee. Kelly and her husband Mike are 25 year residents of Lake Villa and are actively involved with Save-A-Pet, the Northern Illinois Food Bank, Open Arms Mission and Indivisible Western Lake County. 
     
    Kelly earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Trade from Auburn University and a Master of Arts Degree in German Literature from the University of Alabama and spent ten years working as a senior account manager for a public entity's self-funded medical and dental plan cooperatives. She is excited to be a D34 Board of Education member and to help carry out the vision set forth in the new D34 Strategic Plan. “I have faith that we will all work to the best of our ability to help D34 thrive and be a place where we inspire students to dream and empower them to achieve.”

    Josh Cornwell
    Term: 2023-2025
     
    As the principal of Big Hollow Middle School, Josh Cornwell possesses a wealth of educational knowledge and experience. Currently in his 16th year as an educator, Josh began his educational career teaching middle school ELA and Social Studies before transitioning into administration, where he has served as both a middle school Assistant Principal and Principal. Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Illinois, in addition to a Masters in Arts in Secondary Teaching and a Masters in Arts in School Leadership, both from Concordia University Chicago.
     
    Antioch residents since 2015, Josh and his wife Chanelle are proud parents to current D34 students Nathaniel and Georgia. As a parent, Josh has served as a member of the D34 Parent Advisory Committee, and as a board member, is excited to support the ongoing work that is taking place in the district as we “continue to ensure schools are inclusive, equitable spaces for all students” and “provide learning environments that educate the whole child (academic, behavioral, social-emotional.”

    Tamar Lasko
    Term: 2023-2025
     
    A long-time resident of Antioch, Tamar and her husband Loren are proud parents to D34 students Amelia and Ellie. Having served as a middle school Language Arts teacher for ten years, Tamar Lasko sits on the D34 Board of Education with a students-first approach and is focused on the success of all students. “My hopes for the future of D34 are to see decisions made with the inclusivity of all students in mind.”
     
    Tamar received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois, a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis and a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Tamar has a passion for reading and baking and spends time regularly volunteering at Feed My Starving Children.

    Michelle Ruminski
    Term: 2023-2025
     
    An Antioch resident since 2004, Michelle and her husband Ron raised their son, Thomas, a proud graduate of D34 and D117. Active in the community and within both school districts, Michelle has spent an extensive amount of time volunteering in the schools and classrooms. She has served as a member of the D34 Parent Involvement Task Force, on multiple Strategic Plan Committees for both D34 and D117, in addition to serving as a PTO Executive Board Member and President.

    A lifelong learner, Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies from Eastern Illinois University and spent ten years working in IT as a network administrator and project manager. She currently works at the College of Lake County in the Human Resources Department. Michelle is actively involved with the Arthritis Foundation and The Haven, and spends time volunteering with the Reese Brantmeier Project. She enjoys spending time with family, crafting, traveling, playing with her German Shepherd, Saorsie, and testing new gluten-free recipes.

    As a member of the D34 Board of Education, Michelle's goal is to ensure every student, regardless of ability or background, is afforded an excellent education in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. "All children should feel safe and encouraged to achieve their dreams. I believe that public education must be safeguarded and strengthened. All kids deserve to grow up in a community that values education and the opportunities it provides."
