Mrs. Amanda Earnest

 About Mrs. Earnest: The 2022-2023 school year will be my 10th year of teaching Physical Education and Health at Antioch Upper Grade School. I am the AUGS 8th Grade Girls' Volleyball Coach, and in the past I have also coached softball and basketball. In addition to my responsibilities at AUGS, I am also the JV Girls' Volleyball Coach at Antioch Community High School.  I have my master's degree in health & wellness education, and I am a member of the District 34 Wellness Committee. I am passionate about PE & Health, and strive to teach my students to be lifelong learners and movers! A physically educated student has learned the skills necessary to perform a variety of activities and participates in regular physical activity. They value physical activity and its contribution to a healthy lifestyle, and they know the benefits from involvement in physical activities.  Most importantly though, I always want PE & Health to be a positive experience for everyone!
