WHAT'S HAPPENING IN 6TH GRADE MATH:
Pi Day 2024 was a huge success! There was an all-time AUGS record set in the memorization contest (284 digits!), students won a ton of great prizes, and I did not get picked to be pied! A huge thank you to all the parents who sent in prizes and supplies. Every year I am blown away by the generosity of families but this year may have been the best response ever. Back to normal this week and I am excited to have Miss Jerianne Bonaguidi, a former student and basketball player of mine, joining us as a student teacher for the next six weeks. Honors will be taking the Module 4 End of Module Test, Plus students are finishing up Module 4 this week and will test after break, and Math 6 class are moving on to solving equations.
GOOGLE CLASSROOM
This school year in math, I am posting assignments on Google Classroom. However, students should NOT submit actual assignments on Google Classroom unless specifically instructed to do so. If you are turning in late or absent work, you need to turn in the actual assignment in person. If it is a page in your workbook, tear it out and make sure to put your name on it!
