WHAT'S HAPPENING IN 6TH GRADE MATH:

Honors and Plus classes will be starting Module 3 this week.  Module 3 focuses on positive and negative integers and rational numbers.  We will be studying concepts such as absolute value, distance on the coordinate plane, and integer operations.  Math 6 classes will be wrapping up Module 2 by learning how to estimate quotients, reviewing long division, and learning how to divide decimals.  They will take the End of Module 2 Assessment the week of 12/11.

GOOGLE CLASSROOM

This school year in math, I am posting assignments on Google Classroom.  However, students should NOT submit actual assignments on Google Classroom unless specifically instructed to do so.  If you are turning in late or absent work, you need to turn in the actual assignment in person.  If it is a page in your workbook, tear it out and make sure to put your name on it!
