Hello District 34 Orchestra Students!

My name is Sarah Miller and I am so excited to begin making beautiful music with you here in Antioch District 34.  I can’t wait to get to know all of you!  I started learning the violin when I was 5 and played in my school orchestra too.  When I was in 4th grade, I started taking piano lessons.  Then in middle school I learned a little bit of the cello.  In college, I learned the bass so that I could teach all of you.  My husband is also a bass player.

I have 3 children: Helen, Madeleine, and Charles.  I live just north of Antioch in Wisconsin.  I love to explore new places and fun activities.  I love to bake, read, play games, and watch family movies.  But what I love most is playing music with other players and with my students.  I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you this school year.  It is going to be a great year in orchestra!
