District 34 has a needs based pre-kindergarten program currently located at The Mary Kay McNeill Early Learning Center. The program is funded through a state grant called Preschool for All (PFA). There is no tuition or registration fees for this program due to its state funding. Students can be found eligible for this program by participating in the district's PFA screening process. Eligibility is based on state criteria. Once a child is age eligible for kindergarten, they can no longer be eligible for a PFA program.
The program meets 5 days a week and has AM and PM sections. Placement in AM vs PM is based on your home address. We offer transportation to and from school based on AM or PM placement.
