Hello English Learner families!
What a crazy time this has been. Who could have predicted we would be working remotely for the past two months? I have been so pleased with how well students worked and responded. For me, it has been a time of learning how to teach remotely. I have learned so much but yet there is so much more to learn!
Over the summer I will still check-in on Google Classroom and Seesaw. Let's stay in touch and hope we can again be together in the fall. If it is not possible, I will be ready to go! So take care, enjoy your summer, keep your brains engaged, and READ, READ, READ!! That said, I can also push electronic books to students through RAZ Kids. Let me know!
- Remote Learning resources by grade level. The Remote Learning tab is located at the bottom of my pages list. I have uploaded a variety of math practice sheets for Grades K, 1 and 2. I'll continue to work on uploading practice sheets for grades 3 and 4. I have also uploaded some fun activities for students to use. Enjoy!
- Parent information on English Learners
- ACCESS 2.0 results documents translated into your home language (in most cases)
- Program of instruction information
In addition to postings on my website, I am also communicating through Seesaw for students Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. For Grades 3, 4 and 5, I am using Google Classroom. I've had a few of you checking in regularly. It's great to hear from you!
While we are off school, students can reach me through Seesaw (Grades K, 1, 2) and Google Classroom (Grades 3, 4, 5). E-mail is a definite way students and parents can contact me! email@example.com
