RE:  Community Engagement in the D34 5-Year Strategic Plan

Antioch School District 34 invites you to attend a Community Engagement meeting to provide input into the District’s 5-year strategic planning process. Join other community members for this important planning session as we set a five-year course for the future!

Two different interactive sessions will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at the Hillcrest Elementary School library, 433 Depot Street, Antioch. Participants can select either 4 p.m. or 7 p.m. Given the interactivity of the sessions, it will be important for participants to arrive at the starting time. Sessions are expected to last 60 to 90 minutes and will conclude once all input has been gathered.

The sessions will be facilitated by a representative from the Illinois Association of School Boards and built around structured, yet informal, conversation and interaction. Specifically, these sessions are intended for community members, rather than Antioch School District 34 staff or administrators.

A strategic planning team consisting of parents, staff, administrators, school board members and community members have been involved in the planning process and will be working with the input gathered at these meetings. Information presented or gathered at each meeting will be posted online. Learn more about the Antioch School District 34 strategic planning process on our website.

If you would like to attend one of the meetings on May 5th, kindly RSVP to Kathy Hogan at or 847-838-8481 by May 1st, to let us know which session you plan to attend.

We look forward to hearing the voice of the community and using the feedback in our strategic planning efforts.
