Curriculum
We will be starting the year off with fitness testing to gather Fall scores. We will be testing cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility. Fitness tests consist of the mile run, Pacer test, push-up test, curl-up test, and sit and reach test. Scores will serve as a "starting point" for students. Every day, during warm-ups and other weekly fitness activities, we students will perform exercises that work on the different components of fitness. At the end of the year, we will re-test to see how the students' scores have improved!
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are unit days, and Wednesdays are Fitness Days.
