The following volunteer opportunities are currently available at Oakland. Please contact the person(s) listed to express your interest and availability.
Please join us for the May Oakland PTO meeting on Monday, May 9th at 6:30pm in the library. Voting for new PTO board members for the 2011-2012 school year will take place at this meeting.
MUFFINS WITH MOM - May 11th, 12th & 13th
Volunteers needed to help set-up, and serve muffins and juice during this special event for Oakland moms and their kids. Please contact Aimee DeRyke at Derykea@aol.com.
5TH GRADE FAREWELL
Volunteers/photographers are needed for the 5th Grade Farewell on Friday, May 27, 10am-2pm at Action Territory. Please contact Karen Mercure at jkjmbkmerc@sbcglobal.net
Oakland is in need of volunteers to help out with Market Day Pick Up. Volunteer hours are 3:45-6:30pm. The profit from Market Day sales is shared among the schools in district 34 (AES, AUGS, Hillcrest, Oakland). Therefore, volunteers are needed from each school.
If you are able to give an hour or two once a month during the school year, we will have the volunteers needed to make this fundraiser a success. You can sign up for just one month, or regularly volunteer. We would appreciate any time you can give! Your older children are welcome to help and younger children can come as well.
