Congratulations District 34 Elementary Bands on a Wonderful Winter Concert!AUGS is hosting the 2012 IGSMA Band Contest on March 9th & 10th, 2012 and we are in need of volunteers. 5th Grade Band
5th Grade Before School Band Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at AUGS. Percussion rehearse every Monday as well. Report to the Band Portable at AUGS between 7:20 and 7:40. Any questions please contact Mrs. Mack at cmack@antioch34.com.
A Word of Caution!
If you are looking to purchase a NEW instrument for your child PLEASE do NOT buy anything for under $500. Our advice is to check with the band directors before purchasing. There are inferior brands out there that will not be repairable once they are in need of service. What looks like a bargain now will cost more in the long run.
