Our class had a busy and fun-filled week.
Science- Each table became an expert on cell organelles. They created a model and found three facts to teach the class. As we put our pieces together, the group understood how it functions as a system. Your child should have brought home science vocabulary cards. Please encourage them to practice these. Our vocabulary test is on Wednesday.
Writing- Our class has started writing a group “how to” expository paper. At the same time, they are developing their own individual paper. After their paper has been written, edited and finalized, we will be turning these papers into a “how to speech.” More details will come home by the end of the month.
Be sure to ask your child about our wrinkled bully paper. We modeled with a sheet of paper what happens to a person after being bullied. Even when apologized to, there are still wrinkles that are left.

your child to clean out all the
extra papers out of their folder, to
keep organized.
